Hi guys,

As you know, the server has been hacked twice in the last few weeks (well I wouldn't really say "hacked", but basically exploited). Each time, the hacker(s) delete all of the admins, and add themselves, leaving their steam IDs and sometimes IP addresses. I always permaban the offenders, but there are always more. The mani admin site was also hacked, and as far as I know, there is no official update to prevent this.

Further, I haven't got any donations for the server for a few months, and even then, it was just one donation, then nothing for a few months before that.

I've been pretty generous with the admins on the server; unless you've caused trouble, you've basically kept admin even if you only paid for a month - which is good for you, obviously, and it's somewhat good for me, because on the one hand, I have admins that more or less keep the peace effectively - but on the other hand, I'm paying for the server myself month after month.

Now when I played CSS on a daily basis, I would basically eat most of that cost every month and not really mind, because I'd get lots of use out of it - but as most of you know, I don't play a lot of CSS anymore, so there's no benefit for me to run the server - obviously I don't do it to make money. Not only do I have to pay the server bill, but obviously this website and the online ban system aren't free.

Additionally, I get dozens of messages a day from players and admins regarding everything from nuisance players to whining about maps to offering me "cheap servers".

The point I'm getting to is, it's not really worth it to me to keep shelling out my own cash every month just to be constantly recovering from hacks, resolving disputes, and getting bothered all the time - especially when I virtually never play on the server.

So you can either donate and I'll continue to run the server, or you can contact me to take it off of my hands.

KEEP IN MIND, if you're just some random person I don't know and you're like "LOL GIV ME UR SRVR KTHX" I'll tell you to fuck off. The above message is basically just for admins and other trusted players. I want to be sure that the person I hand it off to will be able to keep it running for a long time, not just pay for one month and that's it.

How much is the total bill each month to pay for the server?
I would be happy to donate every month if that would make it easier for you?
Can't imagine how time consuming it can be, but I understand if you just want to have it go away.

Depending on how it costs you have a buyer but some things would change. e.g. admins, maps, some configs will be transfered to other scripts. i'll contact you by mail for info.

I will helped you out, and keep the sever running in a best way without hacker,etc.

Okay guys, I've got 4 offers for the server, and I've chosen the one I want to go with.

The "DGG" group will be taking over the server. RELENTLESS and Jane will be administrating the forums and ban system. They are going to pay for the server a year in advance, so you don't have to worry about the server going anywhere. He's also told me that he plans on keeping the server mostly how it is now, although anything they want to do is up to them now.

We're still working out the details, but that's basically it. The website and ban system will continue to run - essentially the impact on the players will be minimal.

I'll still be around and I'll continue to have admin on the site, ban system, and server - so by all means if I'm online and you need help with something or someone is hacking, you can still let me know - I'll just no longer be in charge.
